The shell has been internally seam welded to help with the strength.
The engine bay has also been seam welded, as well as all the front and
rear suspension points and chassis legs.
To protect the underside of the car, all the old underseal and chipped
paint has been removed, so that it was back to bare metal. Several layers
of smooth hammerite was applied, before two final coatings of hammered
dark blue hammerite was applied.
The exterior was painted using dark grey cellulose primer and then several
coats of cosmos blue cellulose has applied, before it was finished with
T-cut and polish.
The interior was also finished with grey primer, then cellulose cosmos blue, but this time I finished it with 1 pack clear lacquer.
